What's Cooking
Actually...I have a lot cooking. I just can't wait to show you what I'm working on! I'm almost done!
And in my oven...
Turkey Biscuit Casserole
I got this recipe from my MIL. It's a family favorite for using up turkey leftovers. Works great for cooked chicken too.
2 cups chopped turkey
1 can mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 tablespoon Worchestershire Sauce
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 pinch salt and pepper
2 cups chopped broccoli, boiled lightly
2 cups flour
2 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup milk
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons parsley
Mix turkey, onion, seasonings, broccoli, mushroom soup and sour cream in a large casserole dish.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, vegetable oil and parsley together. Drop biscuits by spoonful onto top of casserole. Bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes at 400°F. Serve.
Anything special cooking at your house?

Yum!
ReplyDeleteI made the turkey biscuit casserole for dinner tonight and hubby loved it...me too! Delicious. At first I thought I had the recipe wrong because it was so thick but no way, it turned out perfect. That's a keeper for my recipe book.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I used Costco baked chicken and it took half the chicken for this recipe amount. To double recipe for a large family or company I would just add the whole boned chicken.
Thanks again. You have the best recipes and my family thanks you :)
